'Free Tubing Day' At Ariens Hill Postponed to Feb. 18

Tubing, skating, 46 Below and Titletown programming closed this weekend due to weather

With the anticipated cold weather next week, Free Tubing Day, compliments of AriensCo., has been postponed until Thursday, Feb. 18. Also due to the inclement weather this weekend, tubing, skating, 46 Below and Titletown programming is closed from today through Sunday. The Titletown team will reevaluate Sunday evening to determine when activities will resume.Back for another year, Free Tubing Day will provide thrilling tube rides down Ariens Hill in Titletown for free for all guests, community members, kids and kids-at-heart. Tubing at Ariens Hill is open from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, with Admissions closing at 7 p.m.All guests must sign a waiver to tube at Titletown, and are asked to fill out the waiver prior to arriving. To avoid having large groups inside the Admissions building, guests are also now asked to complete their tubing and skating waivers at home or before visiting at Titletown.com/waivers from their computer or smartphone. Each adult (18+) must complete their own waiver, with every adult able to add up to 10 minors per waiver. A new waiver must be completed for every visit, unless the visitor has a season pass. Following completion of the waiver, guests will receive a QR code for them to scan upon check-in at the Admissions building. For the safety of all guests, tube riders must be at least 42" tall and are required to ride in their own tube. Full age, height and health restrictions for tubing, as well as rules and regular hours can be found at titletown.com/events/recreation/tubing.Visitors should note that Titletown has enhanced its COVID-19 protocols to help guests and visitors stay safe. To adjust to the ongoing pandemic and help limit the spread of COVID-19, masks are now mandatory for every person over the age of 2 at Titletown and must be worn at all times throughout the park unless actively eating or drinking, including while skating and tubing this winter. Other new procedures aimed at limiting spread of the virus include reduced ice rink capacity to maintain physical distancing, frequent sanitation of rental skates and tubing equipment, and no lockable storage lockers available this season.Guests are also reminded that Titletown is now cashless, with credit/debit cards and Titletown gift cards the only forms of payment accepted. A free, cash-to-card conversion station is available inside 46 Below for convenience. Half season passes are now available in person at Admissions and require a one-time waiver and one-time payment for each pass-holder. All activities are subject to change depending on weather. Up-to-date information about activities and programming is shared through Titletown’s social media platforms at facebook.com/TitletownGB, twitter.com/titletown and instagram.com/titletown.
