Winter Jubilee Light Show, free holiday activities to debut Nov. 25

With the holiday season right around the corner, Titletown is gearing up to celebrate with the free Winter Jubilee Warm Up, presented by EUA and Shopko Optical, on Friday, Nov. 25, and Saturday, Nov. 26.

The festivities will offer activities for all ages to get into the holiday spirit and will serve as the kick-off for winter programming at Titletown, with Titletown Winter Jubilee events taking place throughout the coming months.

The Winter Jubilee Warm Up will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, when ice skating on the Hy-Vee Plaza opens for the day, along with Santa’s Mailbox at 46 Below. Starting at 3 p.m., multiple fire pits will be lit at the Hy-Vee Plaza and Terrapin Beer Garden, along with drinks served fireside. Visitors can enjoy Sounds of the Season live music starting at 4 p.m., along with several festive photo op stations featuring live reindeer, holiday scenes and more near the grand stairs. All ages can also enjoy “Après Skate” games, crafts and holiday tunes at Rockwood Terrace starting at 4 p.m.

On Nov. 25, the Winter Jubilee Light Show presented by EUA and Shopko Optical will debut at 6 p.m., with seven-minute shows every 30 minutes until 9 p.m. This schedule will continue most Fridays and Saturdays with increasing showtimes later in December. The family-friendly presentation is projected onto Lambeau Field’s outer west façade, off of Ridge Road, and will feature a dazzling blend of holiday-themed lights and animation, music, special effects and fireworks. The fun wraps up for the day Friday at 10 p.m. and will resume on Saturday at 11 a.m., with skating and more holiday activities throughout the day. Throughout December, community members and visitors are invited to participate in the holiday fun at Titletown with opportunities to visit with Santa through Santa’s Supper Club, Santa’s Workshop, and Santa Skate. Families can also enjoy Characters on Ice each Tuesday, with a new holiday character visiting Hy-Vee Plaza each week, from Nov. 29 to Dec. 20 from 6-7 p.m. A full schedule of Winter Jubilee events will be available soon on Titletown.com.

Titletown’s Winter Jubilee will last beyond the holiday season, with programming and events planned throughout the winter months, with fitness classes, outdoor activities and special ice skating and tubing theme nights to be announced in the near future. Ariens Hill, the tubing hill adjacent to the Hy-Vee Plaza, will open in the coming weeks as soon as weather conditions are favorable for making snow.
